Battle-tested tips and tools for SvS domination, rally coordination, bear trap optimization, and alliance management in Whiteout Survival.
SvS Preparation Checklist Guide
State vs State (SvS) is the highest-stakes event in Whiteout Survival. Proper preparation is the difference between a decisive victory and a wasted week. Follow this checklist to make sure your alliance is ready.
24+ Hours Before SvS
Ministry signups -- Post ministry slots in your alliance chat or Discord. Assign members to Infantry, Lancer, and Marksman ministry roles based on their strongest hero class. Fill all slots early to avoid last-minute scrambles.
Resource check -- Ensure rally leaders have enough stamina, speedups, and healing resources. Stockpile at least 3 days of speedups and 50M+ RSS per rally leader.
Shield plan -- Non-rally members should have 8-hour or 24-hour shields ready. Coordinate bubble-up times so no one gets caught shieldless during active enemy rallies.
Troop healing -- Clear your hospital queues. Train replacement troops if your hospital is near capacity.
Point Targets by Phase
Phase 1 (Gathering) -- Focus on resource gathering nodes. Send out all available marches with high-load heroes. Target: 200K+ points per active member.
Phase 2 (Power) -- Use saved speedups on building, research, and troop training. Coordinate boost timing with alliance buffs. Target: 500K+ points per active member.
Phase 3 (Combat) -- Rally enemy cities and resource tiles. Focus fire on high-value targets. Coordinate with bear trap placement. Target: 1M+ points per rally leader.
Rally Coordination
Designate 3-5 rally leaders based on furnace level and hero strength.
Set rally timers so joiners have enough time -- typically 5 minutes for scheduled rallies, 2 minutes for quick strikes.
Use a rally sign-up sheet so leaders know who is joining each march.

Rally Composition Guide Guide
Building the right rally can multiply your damage output. Here is how to compose rallies for different situations in Whiteout Survival.
Troop Types and Roles
Infantry -- High HP and defense. Best in front line to absorb damage. Strong against Lancers, weak against Marksmen.
Lancers -- Balanced attack and defense with strong charge damage. Strong against Marksmen, weak against Infantry.
Marksmen -- High attack from range but low HP. Strong against Infantry, weak against Lancers.
Hero Pairings
Your rally leader hero determines the troop type bonus. Always match your hero class to the majority troop type in the rally.
Single-type rallies -- Best for bear traps and coordinated pushes. Send 100% of one troop type matching your lead hero. Maximizes hero skill and ministry buffs.
Mixed rallies -- Use for defensive or uncertain situations. Split roughly 40/30/30 with the majority matching your hero class.
Counter rallies -- Scout the target first. If they have mostly Infantry, lead with Marksmen. Adjust composition to exploit their weakness.
March Size Optimization
Rally capacity scales with the leader's furnace level and hero level.
Higher-star heroes add significant troop capacity bonuses (up to +6,000 at 5 stars).
Always fill the rally to max capacity. Unfilled slots are wasted damage.

Bear Trap Strategy Guide
Bear traps are one of the most impactful strategies in Whiteout Survival territory wars. Properly coordinated traps can eliminate entire marches and swing control of the map.
Setting Up the Trap
Placement -- Place bear traps on high-traffic routes between enemy cities and resource zones, or near contested territory flags. Use the Territory Planner to identify choke points.
Bait -- Leave a low-power city or resource tile unshielded near the trap to lure enemies into the zone.
Timing -- All rally members must arrive at the trap simultaneously. Stagger launch times based on each member's distance from the trap location.
Damage Optimization
Single troop type -- Send 100% of one troop type to maximize hero and ministry buffs. Do not mix troop types in bear trap rallies.
Hero selection -- Use your highest-level hero that matches your troop type. Prioritize heroes with damage-boosting skills over utility skills.
Combat boosts -- Activate attack boost items before your troops reach the trap. Stack alliance buffs and individual boosts for maximum effect.
Coordination -- The more marches that hit the trap at once, the higher the total damage. Coordinate with 10+ alliance members for maximum effect.
